What is the PTA?
The PTA (Parent Teacher Association) a non-profit organization made up of individuals who want to build a strong support system for Ridgecrest students. Membership os open to parents, teachers, grandparents, mentors, caregivers, community members, and anyone else who cares about our students. Our primary goals are to build a sense of community among Ridgecrest families, encourage parental involvement at school, and promote a positive learning environment.
Why should I join the PTA?
By joining PTA you are supporting an organization that:
- Raises funds for and sponsors many activities and programs at our school.
- Provides a variety of ways for parents and others to be involved in their children's education.
- Advocates for children at local, state, and national levels. Your membership strengthens the PTA's voice.
In addition, PTA members can save money on everyday purchases through the the National PTA's Member Benefits Provider Program.
How do I join?
PTA membership is $5.00. These due go to support our local Ridgecrest PTA as well as the state and national PTA. You can join by turning in your membership dues to the office. Cash and checks are accepted. Make checks payable to "Ridgecrest PTA". You can also join online, by clicking the button below.
